GOLD GLIDERS

Gradient Red Yellow

Above the clouds, invincible to the sun, and soaring in the wind, the Gold Gliders have watched over the Laurier students, patiently waiting for the time to rise and conquer O-Week. The Gold Gliders are loud and adventurous, always ready to lift one another up from hardships and fear nothing and no one. These sun warriors have hidden in the clouds, shining through with the sunlight, only demonstrating a whisper of their powers. In these dark times, they are gliding their way to O-Week. Energy is their livelihood. The Gold Gliders radiate with their passion, spontaneity. Wherever they are, laughter and positivity follows. These warriors are thrill seekers who enjoy intense activities, always causing an adrenaline rush; perfect for defeating anything that tries to get in their way to victory. On the sunniest days, their gold wings become reflective as a means to remind their warriors who they are and the power they wield. Don’t underestimate the Gold Gliders, as they will fly so high, they coast through O-Week.

Molded out of the eternal flames of a rare comet Laurier could never have predicted the stubborn willpower exuded by this intense blazing ball of fire. The Red Infernos have risen from the wildfire of this explosion with only one goal in mind. Here to reclaim their title as the O-Week Winners, they have become a force to be reckoned with. Their natural intensity and passionate manner leaves a blazing trail of excitement behind them. Forged from a comet that’s only sighted once per millennium, the Red Infernos are literally hot and draw their powers from the deepest volcanoes. With their ability to manipulate and control the heat of any fire, their opponent’s best defense is to not directly look at them. The Red Infernos have laser vision, are courageous, and deeply loyal, and ready to bring the heat this September. This too hot to handle Inferno has set its course on the next target: Laurier O-Week. So be careful as they are guaranteed to bring the heat!

BLUE BEACONS

Blue Surface

After an explosion that threatened the world that we knew, the Blue Beacons have risen from the coals and emerged from the underground to guide their people through O-Week. The true inception of a Blue Beacon is still unknown to this day and although their origin remains a mystery, their legacy has continued on through the glow of their lanterns left behind many years ago. One thing’s for sure; during this dark time, they have come out of the shadows to lead the way and WIN O-Week. Their radioactive powers create a consuming energy that will light the way to victory. With the ability to absorb energy, they can wield through any lightning. Their electric nature fuels their lanterns and empowers them to defeat any obstacle in their way. These shadowy figures have resurfaced and will not let anything get in their way to take on the title of O-Week Champions.

Forged in the deepest part of the ocean, the Gallants are rumored to be the worthiest and most resilient of sailors. The Green Gallants sailed the ocean through unruly waters, surviving countless storms. They wield the wind like a weapon and their steady sails are commanded by only their thoughts. After their year-long quest, the once-abandoned ship has found its worthy team of soldiers within the Laurier students. By using their brave and powerful natures, can the Green Gallants prove themselves and take on O-Week. These noble soldiers can outlast any storm, hurricane, or typhoon. With the wind at their will, they can sail through any treacherous waters with ease and grace, surviving the toughest of times. Anchored down to the sea, the Green Gallants are known for their adaptiveness and strategic features. Cruising through O-Week and claiming victory will be just one of many accomplishments for these Laurier soldiers.
